Hey, I’m Paula , your Authority Activator and business mentor.

Before I ever coached a woman online, I spent 20 years leading in rooms that didn’t hand out authority easily. I was a teacher, then a Deputy Head, leading staff, parents, students and senior leadership (often as the youngest, the boldest, or the one who didn’t quite fit the mould in my heels and bright dresses!) I learned early how to hold a room, make decisions under pressure, and lead with conviction always.

That’s where this work comes from.

I didn’t wake up one day and decide “authority” sounded like a good brand angle. I’ve lived it. I’ve been underestimated, side-eyed, promoted early, questioned loudly and trusted with real responsibility… all at the same time. And what I know for sure is that authority isn’t something you earn by proving yourself harder. It’s something you lead with once you stop shrinking it.

When I moved into business, I saw the same pattern everywhere. Brilliant women with results, experience and depth still holding back on how visible they’should’ be. Still softening their message, still borrowing strategies that don’t fit and wondering why things feel harder than they should.
